CenterICE Network Kick-Off

What a great day and a spectacular group of people! The inaugural meeting of the CenterICE Network was held on Tuesday of this week and we are so excited by the work of the group and all of the buzz that the day has generated. There is no doubt that this group will have an impact on “remaking learning” in our region! Thank you to all who participated!

Welcome NAO!

NAO RobotPlease welcome our newest addition…NAO!! NAO is a humanoid robot, capable of some very amazing things! He is autonomous and has the ability to explore his own environment and converse with humans. One of NAO’s most impressive abilities is in the realm of the treatment of autism. We are so excited that he is part of our project and can’t wait to begin exploring all of the possibilities that he brings to CenterICE!

Our furniture has arrived and we are so excited to see it in the new space! The new color addition seems to bring even more life to what was already a vibrant space. One of the coolest features of all of the furniture is that everything is on wheels and can be re-positioned to any location in the room. To top that, the table tops are alll whitboard surfaces and can be written on with dry-erase markers!

Laser Installation Day

On Tuesday the Center for Innovation and Creativity in Education installed a brand new Epilog Laser Cutter! It was an exciting day for us, filled with challenges and learning for the whole crew! We can’t wait to share this awesome machine with everyone and explore the multitude of possibilities it brings to the classroom!
